Auli is an enthralling hill station that proffers relief from the tropical scorching heat of the country. Although it is primarily a ski destination in the hills, there are various other reasons that why it pulls in large community of travellers throughout the year. It is a sightseers heaven as the location amidst abundant greenery and views of the grand snowclad mountains forms a sight to be hypnotized. Not only this, but Auli falls on the way to the Char Dhams of Uttarakhand thus achieving some more popularity than it already has. As you reach Auli, checkin at the prior booked hotel and spend some time relaxing and resting. Then, you can decide to stay back and indulge in leisurely activities or move out and explore the surroundings of this hilly vacation paradise. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
In the morning get freshen up and leave for the sightseeing expedition of Auli and its exquisite surroundings. There is no scarcity of tourist attractions in this hill station, which is why travellers frequent travel it quite often. A few kilometres from Auli is nestled Gurso Bugyal, which is a large region of luscious green grassland set amidst dense forests. Close to it lies Chattrakund a twinkling sweet water lake located at an altitude of above 3000 metres. Another popular water body in Auli is the crystal-clear Artificial Lake, which is amongst the advanced man-made lakes in the world. It was introduced to provide artificial snow for the purpose of skiing on the slopes when snowfall is scarce. You can move towards Joshimath, which is a little hamlet settled close to Auli. It is one of the four maths introduced by Adi Guru Shankaracharya, and houses various old temples of vast religious importance for the Hindus. While being here, you can also explore the nearby Chenab Lake, which is tranquil and uncontaminated as compared to any other place. Another place of reverence that you can visit is Bhavishya Badri, which is believed to be worshiped as the substitute of the Badrinath shrine in the far future. After a full-day expedition of the hill station, move back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
